Our process includes extensive consultation with the client, analysis of the competition, creative exploration, refinement and perfection of the final image based on clearly established goals.

This is what we call "strategic design" - design that suits your company, target customer base and message, while still being satisfying artistically. The process my be broken down as follows:

Logo Design Process

• Client Consultation - The first step - and the most important - is to listen. We take the time to understand your goals, history and ideas for your corporate identity and marketing plan. No amount of inspiration or skill will be helpful if the end result is at odds with your message or target audience.
• Competitive Analysis - The next step is to educate ourselves by researching the approach taken by your competitors. This is always instructive, whether illuminating a successful strategy and suggesting a similar approach or as a cautionary tale of what to avoid.
• Creative Exploration - After the initial research, we begin by producing preliminary sketches to facilitate communication with you about our ideas. This is the time for imagination and fun - a time for exploring new ideas.
• Execution - Based on your feedback, we then produce 3-5 finished full-color "comps" so you can begin to narrow down your choices. Sometimes this is easy, if the initial approach has been productive. Sometimes it means going back to the drawing board.
• Refinement - After final artwork is produced, we will work with you to make as many changes as necessary until you are completely satisfied with your new logo. If desired, we will then incorporate this logo into unique letterhead designs and business cards or a complete corporate identity system.
